Beautiful fjord. Vathys is very sheltered and is one of the prettiest places we saw in the Dodecanese. Good food and friendly locals, not much else to do in the village itself but the swimming is great and it's great place to hide from the wind. We moored stern to, the area is quite tight but workable however we did snag an underwater line/concrete block with the anchor which meant holding was great but a bit of cutting to leave! Locals helped and were v friendly. Greek coffee blew my head off.

Very narrow fjord. Not a lot of place. 6 or 7 boats max when the gulets are gone. The site is nice, but the anchor takes badly and the mooring is precarious. My neighbor had his chain wrapped around a rock, and my 50 kg anchor was just resting on the bottom. Seats towards the bottom do not have enough water at the dock to risk getting closer and the width of the fjord does not allow to extend much chain. Especially in front of the fishing boats which limit the available width. Only try with a boat that is not too big, out of season, and in calm and stable weather. Otherwise, it's adorable and there are some very good tavernas at the bottom of the fjord. I recommend Popy.

Beautiful little harbor at the end of a valley basin. The access road is between steep rock faces and it is very narrow. Water depth at the quay 1.5-2 m towards the middle, falling to 5-6 m, only a few places and you have to drop the anchor about 10-15 m in front of the opposite rock face. Boats with a deeper draft can use the outflow at Boot Kai after 3 p.m. until the next morning before they come back. 2020 only 3 large tourist boats at lunchtime, usually up to 8 before Corona times, rest of the day very quiet and with its own bathing area directly in front of the harbor. 5 taverns, mini market, baker comes in the morning with a sales bus from Kalymnos town, electricity and water over 1 tower the captain Manolis (harbor master) looks after from the sponge stand.
